The Riksidrottsförbund has recently decided to wait for a decision on e-sport to define itself as a sport. No new branches will be approved until 2019. A new Sifo survey from Betsson shows that a majority of the Swedish people do not think e-sport is in the sport. However, there are major differences among different age groups where younger are clearly more positive.
